With the aim of bringing Singapore closer with her regional neighbours through arts, business and lifestyle activities, this first edition launching on 16 August will set its focus on Malaysia!
In the belief that food brings people together, the festival begins with a special dinner with a buffet spread featuring cuisines from Melaka and Singapore. Participants were treated to a special traditional Nyonya pineapple tart making demonstration by Chefs from Melaka based F&B company Wise Chef — which delicacies are sought after by tourists from Singapore — as well as a short performance by Kuala Lumpur based theatre group, KuLT Productions, featuring highlights from their original musical comedy, Fortune Kooky, which will make its debut outside of Malaysia at the festival.
The 12-day long festival will focus on business and culture events that includes roundtables talks, an art exhibition from Sarawak and sharing of culture and eco-tourism from Perak.
